That's the name of this painting.  I saw this sight during the frigid month of February, looking out of the studio window of my mentor Jean Ranstrom...and if this wasn't a scene just begging to be painted I don't know what was!  
Jean lives way up in northern Minnesota and I mean, way up north!  Practically Canada, and practically North Dakota too. 
Anyway, a beautiful kind of solitude, the fields going on and on and on.  So peaceful.  So quiet.
There is something that I am always attracted to about the vastness of the land and the repitition of the fields that is so pleasing to my eye.  Can you feel it?
