I teach oil painting classes for beginners and those who have some experience and would like additional help with the basics. We begin each month working on a new painting together as a class, painting along with me as I share my insights and advice along the way.
One month we will paint a landscape together. The next month we will paint a still life.
It's a fun and encouraging class, but watch out!...it is also life-changing...as you will begin to see the world in a whole new way as you discover your inner artist!
For the more advanced painter, I have an "Open Studio" class in which you are invited to bring your own painting to work on with my instruction available as you progress.
I also offer regular weekend workshops in which we will paint "Alla Prima Floral", meaning start and finish a floral still life all in one day! In addition, I offer "Plein Air Workshops".

Painting on location is both challenging and exhilarating. It forces you to sort through all
|
|
the information out there and simplify it. This three-day workshop will provide structure
|
|
to the sometimes daunting task of capturing a fleeting moment in time on canvas.
|
|
Ann will begin the workshop with a demonstration of her painting process, showing you
|
|
how she creates a painting from beginning to end, sharing her thoughts and the decisions
|
|
she makes along the way. We will paint on location amongst the natural beauty at
|
|
Full Circle Retreat, and perhaps some of the surrounding area.
|
|
|
|
Ann still remembers what its like to be a beginning painter. She will provide lots of one-on-one encouragement,
|
|
guidance and enthusiasm as you paint. The workshop will end with a group critique, providing the opportunity to
|
|
learn from each other.
|
|
Three-Day Workshop: $250 for registrations postmarked by August 1, $300 thereafter
